Antenna
Sculpture/installation/Performance Mixed media, dimensions variable
Antenna explores the invisible architectures that shape human interaction and communication. Using large sculptural elements that suggest both organic and technological forms, the work transforms the space into a field of quiet transmissions. Visitors navigate through these ambiguous structures, experiencing a push and pull between connection and isolation. Antenna invites viewers to consider the unseen signals — emotional, social, and technological — that bind us together and keep us apart.

Ivonne Batanero Performance in collaboration with Miami Light Project
FeCuOp’s Antenna explored the invisible networks of communication that shape human connection. In a special collaboration with dancer and choreographer Ivonne Batanero — presented by Miami Light Project and Locust Projects — the installation came alive through movement. Described as “engaging” and “theatrically compelling,” Batanero’s performance transformed the space into a living dialogue, weaving her body through the sculptural form to create a visceral narrative about transmission, reception, and the shared frequencies that bind us.
